La Jolla Nurses Homecare uses only Registered Nurses to supervise patient care. Licensed by the State of California as a Home Health Agency, we carefully screen and test all of our caregivers. We will place only the highest caliber of nurses.
We never close. Our service coordinators are on duty day and night, 365 days a year. La Jolla Nurses Homecare does not use an answering service or voice mail. Our clients appreciate direct access to our business office. That's why we have been trusted to provide care in the local San Diego community since 1977.

Required Documents to Bring to an Interview
On your first visit, be sure to bring photo identification and the names, phone numbers, and addresses of TWO professional references. These references must be supervisors or instructors that can verify hands-on care that you have provided.
At the following visit you will be required to submit your social security card, auto insurance card, CPR card, a medical physical (within the last six months), a Physical Release Form, and Mantoux TB skin test (within the last six months). Please note: If you have had a positive TB result in the past, we will need a copy of that positive reading in order to accept a chest X-ray clearing you of active TB.
No Hidden Charges
There are no "hidden" charges when you work with La Jolla Nurses Homecare. The services provided, and the charges involved, are carefully defined in your customer service agreement, and client-approved time tickets are the basis for detailed weekly invoices.
